The MPU-500AS series, is a family of very compact, high performance AC/DC power supplies. These 500W U-Channel power supplies are specifically designed to provide the robust performance, high power density, safety approvals and compact size required by a wide range of applications in a variety of industries.
Three standard models operate from universal inputs of 90 to 264 VAC, providing tightly regulated single outputs. Outputs are factory set to 12, 24 or 48 VDC. Standard features include EN 55032 class B emissions, active power factor correction, 4,000 VAC I/O isolation (5,656 VDC), and efficiency to 92%. All models are protected for over load, over voltage, over temperature & short circuit faults. The MTBF is greater than 160 kHours (per MIL HDBK 217F). All models are approved to UL 62368.
The MPU-500AS family is packaged in a very compact 5.1” x 3.25” x 1.59” U-Chassis. This supply is also available with a cover that has a fan attached. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C (ambient).
