VaultIC408 for EV Charging Station

Ready-to-use Secure Element to build ISO15118 (Plug & Charge) compliant Electric vehicle (EV) Chargers. Personalized with a unique and universally trusted digital identity. Provides state-of-art security features for EV charging ecosystem: Secure communication for OCPP, Secure Firmware update and Encryption.

Our EV Charging specific VaultIC408, together with our Certificate Management System INeS offer among other things:

  • Vehicle-to-Grid PKI, Certificate Pool Management and Provisioning certificates, EV & CS leaf certificates and contract certificates.
  • Revocation management with OCSP and CRL management
  • Provisioning in batch or on the fly (zero touch) during device manufacturing, or
  • when using VaultIC408: Storage of digital identity in the chip during our security certified production process
  • Unique identification and authentication of the connected device, using a tamper resistant chip and certified algorithms
  • Certified True Random Number Generator
