New SKCxxxCS series for DC & AC, for industrial, and telecom protection applications. The series are 10kA 8/20 us rated, bidirectional transient voltage suppressors that are designed for high-power bus clamping applications. These devices provide a lower clamping voltage at the rated peak current. The SKCxxxCS can be connected in series or in parallel to create high current and/or high voltage protection solutions. The SKCxxxCS series is available in the SMTO-218 (Tab) package configuration pictured here and is rated at 1,600 Kilowatts peak pulse power (8/20 microseconds).
