Silvertel announces the pre-launch of the IEEE 802.3at compliant Ag5412 PD (Powered Device), to complement their best-selling range of PoE modules. This new product heralds the first in a new range of high efficiency PD modules. Aimed at developers of Ethernet equipment requiring up to 30W of power, such as, IP cameras, PTZ cameras, WiMAX access points, door entry systems, digital signage and VoIP phones and terminals, Ag5412 provides a high-efficiency, drop-in IEEE802.3at solution.
The AG5412 enhances Silvertel’s PoE PD range of IEEE802.3at modules providing the full 30W of output power at 12V. A 50% reduction in “wasted” power means that it is ideal for use in applications where a high ambient temperature can typically limit the use of lower efficiency PD solutions.
Due for sampling release in Q3/20 and first in the new range of High Efficiency PD modules, the Ag5412 will be available in low volume for evaluation.
