35V, H-Bridge DC Motor Driver

The MPQ6614-AEC1 and MP6614 are 5V to 35V input voltage (VIN) range, 1.5A (MPQ6614-AEC1) or 2A (MP6614) continuous output current (IOUT), H-bridge DC motor drivers. The MPQ6614-AEC1’s high-side and low-side MOSFET on resistance (RDS(ON)) can reach as low as 440mΩ.

The MP6614’s high-side and low-side MOSFET RDS(ON) can reach as low as 500mΩ. The internal charge pump supports 100% duty cycle operation. In addition, the MPQ6614-AEC1 and MP6614 integrate an internal current-sense circuit that provides an output with a voltage that is proportional to the load current. Cycle-by-cycle current regulation and limiting are also provided. Moreover, the MPQ6614-AEC1 and MP6614 support 3.3V and 5V compatible logic supply. Internal protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), and thermal shutdown.

The MPQ6614-AEC1 is available in a small QFN-8 (2mmx3mm) package, and the MP6614 is available in an SOIC-8EP package. They are designed for solenoid drivers and brushed DC motor drivers such as automotive HUD control, automotive water pumps and valves, massage chairs, sweeper robots, and coffee machines.
