Water- and dustproof LED drivers with slim housing

For LED lighting in demanding environments FRIWO offers a new driver line in a partially potted extruded profile housing. Thanks to special end caps, the drivers of the “LT WP” line meet the requirements of protection class IP67 against the ingress of foreign bodies and water. The new driver line currently offers devices with power ratings of 20 W, 40 W and 60 W and is suitable both for operation in constant current mode (CC) and for applications with constant voltage operation (CV).

In addition to the IP67 protection, a significant added value is rendered by the small cross-section of the devices, which can be used even in narrowest profiles thanks to a height of 21 mm and a width of 30 mm. Depending on the performance class, the length of the units is 185 mm (LT20 WP), 210 mm (LT40 WP) or 260 mm (LT60 WP).

The drivers are approved in accordance with safety standards EN61347-1 and EN61347-2-13. With regard to the EMC guidelines, the requirements according to EN55015; EN61000-3-2; EN61547 and EN62384 are met. v
