Microchip RF Division (RFD) offers a broad range of RF front-end products for 1.9 to 6 GHz applications. We offer high-performance Power Amplifier (PA), Front-End Modules (FEM), and Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) supporting all Wi-Fi® standards, including the new 5 GHz 11ac and 2.4 GHz 256 QAM, as well as ZigBee®, Bluetooth®, and DECT applications.

 

Key Features

 

  • Power Amplifiers: High-linearity HBT technology; high power (for AP/router) or high efficiency (for mobile device like smartphone). Discrete or RF-matched. Temperature-compensated and load-insensitive on-chip linear power detector; low-shutdown current (only a few microamps).
  • Front-End Modules (FEM): RF-matched; PA, LNA and switch integrated in compact packages; low external component counts; pin-to-pin compatible with popular FEMs in the market.
  • Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA): PHEMT technology; RF-matched.
