32 kHz TCXO Solutions

 

SiTime’s MEMS-based 32 kHz TCXO solutions are ideal for replacing multiple 32 kHz XTALs in wearable and mobile applications where space and power are critical. The result is a more accurate 32 kHz reference, reduced BOM, reduction in PCB footprint, and the ability to maintain stability after overmold/underfill and in the presence of significant temperature gradients.

 

  • World’s smallest footprint: 1.2mm2 (1.5 mm x 0.8 mm) CSP
  • Ultra-low power: 1 – 4.5 μA
  • Super-TCXO features <5 PPM all-inclusive frequency stability (SiT1566/8)
  • Super-TCXO family provides excellent jitter performance and can be used to drive audio sources
  • TCXO maintains stability in presence of significant temperature gradients in excess of 10°C/sec (Dynamic Stability)
  • Oscillator output eliminates external load caps
  • Internal filtering eliminates external Vdd bypass cap in most applications
  • Best frequency stability: •SiT1568 32 kHz Super-TCXO + Auto-Cal: < ±5 PPM all-inclusive stability after overmold/underfill with in-system auto-calibration
  • SiT1566 32 kHz Super-TCXO: < ±5 PPM all-inclusive stability (no-overmold)
  • SiT1552 32 kHz TCXO:  ±10 PPM initial + over temperature (not overmoldable)
